THE BI-RITE FAMILY OF BUSINESSES is committed to being here for you, providing nourishing, healthy food, and maintaining a safe environment throughout the COVID-19 crisis.
The Markets have dedicated shopping hours for seniors and at-risk guests, 8:00—9am every Monday—Friday. Everyone else is welcome starting at 9am. The Markets will close at 8pm. Saturday and Sunday we’ll be open 8am—8pm. Priority access will be provided to healthcare workers, just show your badge to the door greeter when you arrive.
For everyone’s safety, we’re limiting the number of guests in the Markets at any one time from 10-20 for 18th Street and 20-30 at Divisadero. Queuing happens outside, and we ask that you stand 6ft away from the person in front of you (look for the painted shoe prints and the bright floor markers).
We’d like to encourage you to have just one member of your group shop at a time, so we can continue to maintain social distancing inside for you and our staff. Masks or nose/mouth coverings are required for everyone (staff, guests, and vendors) while inside Bi-Rite. When you enter, please sanitize your hands before shopping.
We sanitize the registers frequently, but you may want to consider using Apple or mobile Pay when checking out, or using the stylus to complete your transaction. And we’re sorry, but reusable bags aren’t allowed right now.
You can still order online for pickup in store or delivery via Instacart. We know there may be availability delays, but everyone at Instacart and Bi-Rite are working hard to get orders fulfilled as quickly as possible.
Due to the SF ‘shelter in place’ order, the Cafe and Creamery remain temporarily closed. We’re very much looking forward to serving you some ice cream and coffee happiness soon. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support.
