Shopping 101: Cara Cara Oranges

Some of life’s best things are happy accidents.

Cara Cara oranges are named after the Hacienda Cara Cara in Venezuela where it was discovered by chance. The flesh of the Cara Cara is uniquely pink throughout and its flavor is exquisite with complex aromas and an ideal balance of sugar and acidity. Superficially, they are undistinguishable from Navel oranges but trust us, they’re worth seeking out.
